th) at against Mercer University at Hawkins Arena. Tip-off is 7 p.m.
BULLDOG BITES: South Carolina State (1-4) is coming off its first win of the season after starting 0-4. The Bulldogs defeated UNC Asheville, 69-60, on Saturday behind trio of
Jayah Hicks (19 pts./6 reb.),
Amiah Lindsay (18 pts./8 reb./3 blks.) and
Trinity Klock (12 pts.). Hicks finished a perfect 5-of-5 on 3-point attempts in the game. On the season,
Heniaya Moton is the only SCSU player averaging double figures with 15.2, while Klock and Lindsay are both averaging a team-best 4.8 rebounds per game.
A Look AT THE BEARS: Mercer (3-3) enters the contest with three players averaging double figures. Amoria Neal-Tysor leads the way with 16.8 ppg, while teammates Jaron Dougherty is second with 16.2 and Shannon Titus at 11.3 points and Jada Lewis with 10.3 on the season.
Next up the Lady Bulldogs return to action at home against Charleston Southern Thursday (Dec.18
th) in a non-conference matchup at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tip-off is 7 p.m.
