ORANGEBURG, SC—The Lady Bulldogs women's tennis team improved to 2-0 in MEAC play, after a 4-3 victory over Savannah State Wednesday (March. 28^th) at the Hardeep Judge Tennis Court.

South Carolina State improves to 4-4 overall, 2-0 in the MEAC, while SSU drops to 2-11 overall, 0-1 in the league.

The Lady Bulldogs dropped the doubles point early before capturing wins in single actions at the No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 spots.

South Carolina State returns to action on Saturday when they travel to the sunshine state to take on Florida A&M in a MEAC showdown in Tallahassee. First serve is 1 p.m.
