SAVANNAH, GA—The South Carolina State women's team improved to 4-0 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) race after a 7-0 dominating road win over Savannah State Tuesday (Mar. 28) at the Tiger Tennis Courts.
 
The defending MEAC Champion Lady Bulldogs look to capture the regular season southern division crown with a win over Florida A&M (Saturday) at home in a 10 a.m. showdown.
 
Meanwhile, SC State took control of the match from start to finish capturing the doubles point early in the contest to take an 1-0 lead, while totally dominating in singles action to shut SSU (0-20, 0-4 MEAC) out and remain winless on the season.
