Box Score GREENSBORO, NC—
Bryeasha Blair led South Carolina State with a game-high 21 points in a tough 54-66 loss to league rival North Carolina A&T State Monday (Feb.13) at the Corbett Sports Center.
The Aggies had three players in double-figures with Aliyah Kilpatrick leading the way with 21 points, while Alexus Lessears recorded the games only double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Cinta McCray added 10 in the win.
The first half was pretty much close with North Carolina A&T leading South Carolina State 28-23 during intermission.
The Aggies opened a seven-point lead, 32-25, off a layup by Lessears at the 7:16 mark in the third quarter. Blair's three pointer with gave the Lady Bulldogs their first lead of the second half 42-41 with 0:26 seconds remaining.
The fourth quarter was all the Aggies pushing ahead as many as 13, 65-52, with a 1:38 remaining in regulation. North Carolina A&T would hold to post an 66-54 victory over visiting South Carolina State.
South Carolina State falls to 5-18 overall, 2-10 in the MEAC, while North Carolina A&T improves to 11-13 overall, 7-4 in the league.

Brittany Drumgoole each finished with seven points. Murray added two blocks, while Drumgoole chipped in an additional six rebounds and five assist in the loss.
Next up the Lady Bulldogs look to avenge an early season loss when they head to Virginia to take on the Norfolk State on Wednesday (Feb. 15).
