Box Score ROCK HILL, SC—South Carolina State had three players scoring double-figures as the Lady Bulldogs defeated Winthrop 65-37 at Winthrop Coliseum Saturday (Nov. 18^th ).

South Carolina State improved to 1-2 overall, while Winthrop fell to 1-3 on the season.

Junior guard Kemoni Jenkins led the way with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Sophomore guard Chantel Williams and 12 points and seven boards. Newcomer junior forward Jasmine Williams had monster game with a game-high 13 rebounds and 11 points in the win.

The Lady Bulldogs outplayed Winthrop in just about every category leading the way in points in the paint (26-8), points off turnovers (17-9), second chance points (19-10) and points off the bench (28-15).

SC State shot 73.3% from the charity stripe , while also leading the way in rebounds 54-45.

South Carolina State return to action on Tuesday (Nov. 21^st) in the home-opener for both the men and women. The Lady Bulldogs tipoff at 5:30 p.m., with the men following immediately afterwards in a 7:30 p.m. start.
