BALTIMORE, MD—The South Carolina State women's basketball team will open Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play on the road Wednesday (Dec. 4) against Coppin State at the Physical Education Complex. Tipoff is 5:30 p.m.
In their last outing, The Lady Bulldogs (3-8) suffered a tough 82-49 loss to ACC opponent the University of North Carolina on last week.

Bryeasha Blair ranks among the top in scoring in the league with 18.5 points per game. Junior forward
Brittany Drumgoole adds 10.7 and forward
Jahmia Bradley is at 8.9 ppg. Bradley and sophomore
JaQuanna Murray grabs a little over 4.5 rebounds per contest. Drumgoole also dishes out 2.8 assists ppg.
Meanwhile, Coppin State (0-12) dropped an 73-63 decision to UMBC. Red-shirt junior guard Genesis Lucas led the Lady Eagles with a game-high 26 points, while freshman center Chance Graham added six rebounds in the loss. Lucas leads Coppin State in scoring with 11.9 points per outing and senior guard Keena Samuels is second on the team with 10 ppg. Graham is leader on the boards with 7.1, while Lucas leads the assists 3.2.
Next up SC State will remain on the road for the second of their three-game MEAC swing with Hampton on Saturday (Jan.7) at the HU Convocation Center. Tipoff is 4 p.m.
