Box Score ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State women's soccer team fell 7-0 to UNC Wilmington on Sunday afternoon at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.
The Seahawks (2-0) led 3-0 after the first 45 minutes of play and scored four goals in the second period. Nikki Cox scored a match-best three goals for UNCW.
The Lady Bulldogs, who played a tough 90 minutes, managed six shots (three on goal). Juniors

Jacqueline Beristain each took one shot. Fernandez-Davila, Welch and Beristain had shots on goal for SC State (0-2).

Taylor Brittingham had a match-high six saves in her Lady Bulldog debut.
SC State hosts USC Upstate at 7 p.m. on Friday.
