ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State women's soccer team will play their home game final Wednesday (Oct. 15) against USC-Beaufort inside Oliver C. Dawson Stadium on Willie Jeffries Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

BULLDOG BITE

• The Bulldogs (2-11-0) enter Wednesday's matchup after a 1-3 loss at Charleston Southern. Both of SC State's wins this season have come at home, with victories over Allen (2-0) and Alabama A&M (1-0).
• Junior forward Alana Watts leads the Bulldogs with five goals and ten points, while Karla Gordon and Kayla Moses have each added three goals apiece. Watts accounted for 36% of the team's scoring output this season.
• Defensively, SC State has allowed 3.15 goals per game, conceding multiple goals in eight of 13 matches. Goalkeeper Jada Gittings leads the Bulldogs with 34 saves.
• SC State is led by first year head coach Andrew Richardson.

About the BUCS 

• Head Coach Gary Boughton enters his first season at the helm for USC Beaufort.
• The Land Sharts are 1-2-1 in their last four outings posting a win over Middle Georgia (10-1) 2-1, followed by ties with Georgia College (10-4) 1-1 and Georgia Southwestern 10-8) 1-1 at home. USC-Beaufort suffered a tough 1-2 loss to Flagler College on Saturday, Oct. 11.
