ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's soccer team closed out their 2025 home season with a tough 2-1 loss to USC Beaufort Wednesday (Oct.15) night inside Oliver. C. Dawson Stadium on Willie Jeffries Field.
The Lady Bulldogs fell to 2-12 overall, while the Sand Sharks improved to 9-2-2 overall, 3-2-2 on the season.
Both teams provide great defense on the day with SCSU only allowing two (2) shots on the day. USC-B got on board in the first half off a goal by Maggie Olsen at the 33:39 mark, followed by another one by Olsen at the 54:08 mark in the second half.
Dejanae Bulter scored the only goal for SC State late in the game at the 78:32 mark with an assist by
Kayla Moses.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State returns to action on Sunday (Oct. 19) on the road at Youngstown State in a 12 noon first kick.
