ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs will look to get back into the win column when they host Southern Wesleyan in non-conference action Saturday (Jan.2) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tipoff is 2 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs (4-7) seek to snap a two-game losing streak after suffering a tough 79-47 road defeat to Jacksonville University in their last outing. Sophomore guard Brittany Drumgoole leads SC State with 10.8 points, while teammates Bria Ratliff and Ashleigh Outler each tosses in a little over seven points each.

Meanwhile, the Warriors (4-6) look to bounce back after a tough 69-44 loss against Truman on Dec. 18 in the Oahu Christmas Classic @ Honolulu, Hawaii. SWU is led by freshman guard Aneysa Williams with 11.5 points per contest.

South Carolina State returns action as they open up conference Saturday (Jan.9) against NC Central in a pivotal MEAC doubleheader. Tipoff is 2 p.m., with the men immediately following in a 4 p.m. start, at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
