Campbell Shuts Out Women’s Soccer 3-0

Box Score ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The Campbell University women's soccer team shut out South Carolina State 3-0 on Wednesday night at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.
 
Campbell got its first road win of the season and improved to 2-3-1, while the Lady Bulldogs fell to 1-7-0 on the season.
 
In the first half, the Camels scored goals in the 10th and 42nd minutes and had a 2-0 lead going into halftime. Their third goal of the game came 51 seconds into the second half and ended the scoring for the game.
 
Campbell had a 12-7 advantage on shots taken and had seven corner kicks to SC State's one.
 
Ashley Clark was the Camels' leading striker with three shots, one on goal, and she added one assist.
 
Dominique Brown took five of the Lady Bulldogs' seven shots, three of which were on goal.
 
SC State hits the road again this weekend to take on Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C. at 7 p.m. on Friday and Winthrop University at 1 p.m. on Sunday in Rock Hill, S.C.
