Orangeburg, S.C.—The South Carolina State women's basketball program will host the 4th Annual SC State Women's Basketball Golf Tournament, Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Hillcrest Golf Course, 1099 St. Matthews Road, NE.  Proceeds from the golf tournament will be used to support the SC State Women's Basketball Summer School Scholarships and Recruitment efforts, according to Head Coach Doug Robertson.

Registration and check-in for the tournament will get underway at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Tournament fees are $200 Team Entry (Threesome), $205 Hole Sponsor, $305 Hole Sponsor & Team Entry, and $5 for mulligans (limit 6 per team). In addition to tournament fees, donations are also being accepted.  Walk-up registration will be accepted the morning of the tournament. Last year, a record 104 golfers participated in the event.

The winners of the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin contests will receive SC State Season Tickets for both football and basketball. Prizes for first through fifth place will also be awarded.
