SC State Women’s Soccer Face Prairie View A&M Friday

SC State Women's Soccer Travels to Houston for MEAC/SWAC Challenge

Orangeburg, S.C.—The SC State women's soccer team will face Prairie View A&M, tomorrow, Friday (Sept. 20) at 7 p.m. in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge. The Lady Bulldogs will face Texas Southern in the challenge on Sunday at 7 p.m. Both contests will be played in Houston, Texas.

In their last outing (Tuesday, Sept. 17) SC State defeated UNC-Asheville, 1-0. Senior Dominique Brown, who knocked in the game-winning penalty kick on Tuesday, is pacing SC State with four goals with one assist for nine points. Junior transfer Janell Cash has three goals for six points for the Lady Bulldogs who enters the weekend with a 4-6-1 record.

SC State will have some much needed rest before returning home on Friday, Oct. 4 when they host Howard University in a 1 p.m. contest at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.
