Seniors Prepare For MEAC Rival N.C. A&T

ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's and women's basketball team will battle conference rival the N.C. A&T Aggies in a pivotal Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference showdown at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tipoff is 2 p.m. for the women, with the men following immediately after.
       Five student-athletes, two managers, and two sports information liaisons will be honored who have contributed to the SC State's success over the past four years.
        Coach Tim Carter and the senior Bulldogs (5-21 overall, 0-13 MEAC) guard Brandon Riley (17.0 ppg, 3.8 rpg), forward Omar Sanders (10.6 ppg, 7.9 rpg), forward Presano Bell (6.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg) and Joe Ikhinmwin (5.2 ppg, 2.4 rpg) will look to avenge an early season 85-55 loss to the Aggies (11-17 overall, 6-7 MEAC) this season.
         On the women's side, the Lady Bulldogs (11-13 overall, 6-7 MEAC) senior forward Tracey Flowers (8.4 ppg, 4.5 rpg) will look to close out her career with a season sweep of the Lady Aggies. SC State defeated N.C. A&T State 71-68 on (2/11/12).
            Both teams will play their final home game on Monday Feb.27, when they host NC Central in a crucial MEAC doubleheader. The women's contest will tipoff at 5:30 p.m., with the men following in a 7:30 p.m. tip.
