SUMTER, SC—The South Carolina State women's bowling team will be one of five teams participating in the 2011 Lady Bulldog Bowling Classic held Feb 12.-13 at the Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC.

       Laura Bailey (57-51 overall, 33-36 MEAC) enters her third season at the helm for the Lady Bulldog bowling program. The Lady Bulldogs( 12-11 MEAC, 13-16 overall are currently third in the Southern Division behind Norfolk State ranked first, and FAMU currently in second place.

        SC State, Elizabeth City State, Fayetteville State, Shaw University and North Carolina Central are one of five teams competing in the weekend classic. Starting times for the matches will begin at 8:30 a.m. -3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
