ORANGEBURG, SC – The SC State women's basketball will hit the road for the first time this season as they travel to Charleston, SC to take on the Buccaneers of Charleston Southern University.
SC State (2-2) will look to rebound from a disappointing 53-88 to USC-Upstate on Tuesday. The Lady Bulldogs has two players averaging double-figures as Senior Sophia Hipps and junior transfer Joi Walker are averaging 16.3 and 10.5 points respectively. Hipps leads the team in rebounding averaging 7.5 boards per contest.
The Lady Bulldogs will return to the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center on Tuesday, Dec. 1 when they host North Carolina Central University. Tip-off for Tuesday's contest is set for 7 p.m. and admission is free.
