DOVER, DE—South Carolina State softball suffered a tough setback over the weekend dropping a tough 3-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) series to host Delaware State inside DSU Softball Complex.
South Carolina State falls to 17-17 overall, 10-8 in the MEAC and is currently in 3
rd place in league standings, while Delaware State improves to 23-16 overall and 12-6 in the league.
The Hornets outscored the Lady Bulldogs 12-1 throughout the series.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State returns to action in non-conference play Wednesday (April. 22) versus USC-Upstate in an exciting doubleheader in Spartanburg, SC. First pitch is 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
