BALTIMORE, MD—Iemyiah Harris tossed in a game-high 21 points to lead South Carolina State to an, 58-47, win Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference over host Coppin State Thursday (Jan. 8
th) night inside Physical Education Complex.
Harris connected in 6-of-15 from the field along the 4 three-pointers and eight (8) rebounds and five (5) steals in the Lady Bulldogs win.
In a reserve role
Janiah Hinton added seven points, while
Ja'Siiyah Holmes controlled the boards with a team-high nine (9) rebounds and
Heaven Harper with eight (8).
As a team SCSU dominated in several categories including fast break points (11-0) and rebounds 47-42.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State remains on the road in MEAC play versus Morgan State on Saturday (Jan.10) in a 2 p.m. start.
