 LAST TIME OUT: South Carolina State rallied in the second half to defeat Mid-Atlantic Christian 56–50 in nonconference men's basketball action Tuesday (Jan. 20) night at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. 

Owen Bronston Jr. led South Carolina State with 18 points, knocking down a pair of 3-pointers and going 6 of 8 from the free-throw line. Christopher Parker added 13 points and eight rebounds, while Florian Tenebay finished with 12 points and five boards.

Meanwhile, Delaware State look to rebound after a tough 80-79 league loss to Morgan State in their last outing.  Ponce Jones finished with a team-high 22 points, while Rahmir Moore added 20.

 NEXT UP: South Carolina State returns to action Saturday in an exciting MEAC showdown with North Carolina Central inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.  SCSU will be celebrating "COMING HOME 2026".
