KENNESAW, Ga.  – South Carolina State volleyball returns to action on the road this weekend taking on Kennesaw State in their home opener this weekend inside VyStar Arena.

The Lady Bulldogs look like to turn things around after a 1-2 start this season. SCSU posted a 3-1 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the 2025 Betty K Invitational in Huntsville, Alabama.

The first game will kick off Saturday (Sept. 6) 2 p.m., followed by a second contest Sunday (Sept.7) at 1 p.m.  All matches will be televised live on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE OWLS: The Owls made a good showing in the first five days of the season, opening with a 3-0 road win at Wichita State in the Shocker Volleyball Classic. In its most recent outing, KSU made short work of Mercer in a 3-1 contest. Both road wins avenged home losses from a year ago.
