- UNC Asheville sits in first place in the Big South rankings with the highest overall record of 3-1-1 and on two-match win streak.
- Asheville leads the Big South in both goals per game (2.60) and opponent goals per game (.40), while being tied for second in corner kicks with 25.
- SC State enters the week at 1-4-0 off of a 2-10 loss at Gardner-Webb back on Aug. 31.
- Kayla Moses leads the team in goals with three, while Karla Gordon and Alana Watts have each also scored on the season.
- This will be the 16th all-time meeting between the schools, with Asheville leading the all-time series 13-2 and on a seven-match win streak. Last year's contest saw Asheville win 7-2 at Greenwood Field back on Sept. 22, 2024.
