ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State women's volleyball team dropped a tough Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) opener at home Friday (Sept.26) to visiting Maryland Eastern Shore 3-0 inside Dukes Gymnasium.
South Carolina State falls to 2-10 overall, 0-1 MEAC, while UMES improves to 4-10, 1-0 in the league.
Leading the way for SCSU in the loss was
Kiyah Felder with eight (8) kills, while
Robyn White added five (5).
Arianna James finished with 13 assists along with
Macey McCoy chipping nine (9) respectively.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State return to MEAC play on Sunday (Sept.28) at home when they host Delaware State inside Dukes Gym. First serve is 1:00 p.m.
