THE SERIES: DSU leads the series 13-1 dating back to 2008. SCSU only victory in the series was Nov. 21, 2010, in a 3-1 victory in the MEAC Volleyball Tournament. SCSU would go on to claim its 2
nd league title in school history that season.
LAST TIMEOUT: The Lady Bulldogs (2-10 overall, 0-1 MEAC) look to bounce back after suffering a tough league loss to UMES 3-0 (20-25, 20-25, 17-25) at home Friday (Sept.26).
Meanwhile, the Hornets (4-11 overall, 0-1 MEAC) also look to snap a losing skid after dropping their last seven matches including an 2-3 league loss to NC Central Friday on the road.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State return to MEAC play on Wednesday (Oct. 1) at home when they host Allen University in non-conference action inside Dukes Gym. First serve is 7:00 p.m.
