ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's soccer team posted an impressive 5-0 shutout over visiting Allen Saturday (Sept. 20) evening inside Oliver C. Dawson Stadium on Willie Jeffries Field.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 2-8 overall, while Allen falls to 0-5 on the season.
SCSU attempted a game-high 26 shots with five (5) goals on connection.
Karla Gordon and
Alana Watts both led the way with two (2) goals respectively in the win.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State will host Jacksonville Wednesday (Sept. 24) in an 5:00 p.m. first kick.
