BUIES CREEK, N.C. - South Carolina State defeated Campbell 4-0 Saturday afternoon at the Nisbet Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs improve to 13-3 overall and captures their 9
th straight win the longest in school history with the win over Campbell.
South Carolina State picked up the doubles point with an 6-1 win at the No. 1 spot and 7-4 win at the No.3 spot to claim the doubles point.
In singles action,
Mikalai Bankou defeated Thomas Drapeau 6-1, 6-3 at the No.1 spot; Novac Novakovic defeated Luke Tollenaar 6-4, 6-2 at the No. 2 spot and
Gabriel Johnson defeated Aleksandar Hudjec 6-3,6-0 respectively at the No. 5 spot.
The Bulldogs will wrap up the final game of the regular season Sunday (April.13) versus SEC powerhouse University of Georgia in a 5 p.m. start in Athens, GA.
