ORANGEBURG, SC—Guard
Shaunice Reed led the way for the second straight week with a team-high 21 points, but it wasn't enough as South Carolina State dropped a tough 76-65 loss to Queens (Charlotte) Thursday (Nov.20) night inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
Forward Feliah Greer added 11 points and five rebounds in the loss.
South Carolina State falls to 2-3 overall, while Queens improve to 3-2.
Despite the loss, the Lady Bulldogs led in several categories including points in the paint (28-26), second chance points (15-10), fast break points (9-9), bench points (25-5) and rebounding (31-30).
NEXT UP: South Carolina State returns to action Saturday (Nov. 22) on the road at Charleston Southern. Tipoff is set for 6:00 PM.
