CHARLESTON, SC—The South Carolina State women's basketball team dropped yet another tough decision in an 53-51 defeat to Charleston Southern Saturday (Nov. 22) inside Buccaneer Fieldhouse.

Angie Juste-Jean led the way with a team-high 11 points, while Iemyiah Harris added 10 points, nine (9) rebounds, five (5) assist, and three (3) steals.

Mya Byrd chipped in nine (9) points, while Heaven Harper finished with eight (8) points, six (6) rebounds and Feliah Greer seven (7) points and six (6) rebounds on the day.

Despite the loss the Lady Bulldogs led in several categories including points in the paint (34-28), points off turnovers (17-17), second chance points (11-7) and bench points (19-2).

NEXT UP: South Carolina State remains on the road and return to action Monday (Nov.24) versus Central Florida in a non-conference battle in a 6:00 p.m. (EST) tipoff.
