BALTIMORE, MD, – The South Carolina State women's volleyball team will compete in the opening round of the 2025 MEAC Volleyball Championships Thursday (Nov.20) versus top-seed Coppin State inside the Physical Education Complex (PEC) on the campus of Coppin State University in Baltimore, Md.
Championship action will stream live on ESPN+ beginning with Thursday's opening rounds.
South Carolina State (5-22 overall, 1-12) enters the contest as the #seed. The two teams met earlier this season with Eagles winning both matches (3-0, 3-0)
Coppin State enters the tournament as the No. 1 seed after clinching the regular season title with a 3-2 victory over Delaware State on Nov. 9. Delaware State, the defending 2024 MEAC Tournament champion, captured its second title in the last three seasons last year. Coppin State, who won the 2023 MEAC Volleyball Championship, enter the tournament with only one conference loss on their record heading into postseason play.
