BALTIMORE, Md. — The South Carolina State volleyball team is back in action this weekend on the road at Morgan State Sunday (Oct. 5) inside Hill Field House.

SERIES NOTES: Morgan State leads the all-time series, 30-1. Last season the two teams split their regular season series each winning on the other's home floor. S.C. State won the first meeting, defeating the Bears in four sets in Baltimore (10/6/24) to spoil Morgan State's homecoming festivities.

The Bulldogs (3-11, 0-2 MEAC) are coming off a 3-0 sweep of Allen on Wednesday at home. Kiyah Fielder had a match-high 12 kills and Miya Benson finished with a match-best 17 digs. Arianna James collected 21 assists for S.C. State, which ended a four-match losing skid with the win.

 Morgan State (5-8, 2-1 MEAC), which will be in search of its first three-win home streak, since the 2020 season (played during Spring 2021 due to Covid-19), is coming off a reverse sweep of visiting North Carolina Central on Friday.
