ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State volleyball team posted an much need win with an 3-0 shutout victory over Norfolk State Friday (Oct. 10) inside Duke Gym.
South Carolina State improves to 4-13 overall, 1-4 MEAC, while Norfolk State falls to 1-17 overall, 0-5 in the league.
SC State dominated in every team category including Points (48-33), Kills (33-23), Aces (7-6), Blocks (8-2), Assists (31-25) and Digs (43-40).
Leading the way for the Lady Bulldogs were
Kiyah Felder with a game-high 12 kills and
Robyn White with seven (7);
Arianna James with four (4) aces;
Kiyah Felder with four (4) blocks;
Macey McCoy with 12 assists and
Miya Benson with 12 digs in the win.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State resume Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play at home versus visiting Howard Sunday (Oct. 12) inside Dukes Gym. First serve is 1:00 PM.
