ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State volleyball team captured a much needed win knocking off Allen 3-0 in non-conference play Wednesday (Oct. 1) inside Dukes Gymnasium.
South Carolina State improves to 3-12 overall, 0-2 in the MEAC, while Allen falls to 5-5 overall, 3-2 in the SIAC.
The Lady Bulldogs posted game-highs from
Kiyah Felder in kills with 12 and
Hedia Lewis with eight (8),
Macey McCoy added three (3) aces, while
Arianna James finished with 21 assists and
Miya Benson 17 digs in the win.
NEXT UP: SCSU returns Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play on the road in Baltimore, MD in a pair of league matches versus Morgan State Sunday (Oct.5) at 3:00 p.m. and Coppin State Monday (Oct.6) at 6:00 p.m.
