ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's basketball team return home to host visiting Delaware State in the second game of an exciting Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Doubleheader inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
Tipoff for the women begins at 2 pm, followed by the men in a 4 pm start.

THE SERIES: The Hornets lead the series 15-14 overall dating back to 2005, with DSU defeating SC State 71-58 in their last outing on March. 14, 2024.
BULLDOG BITE: South Carolina State (8-9, 2-0 MEAC) captured back-to-back much needed road wins in Baltimore with an 86-72 win over Morgan State and an 85-77 win over Coppin State in their last outing to improve to 2-0 in league play.
SCSU is led in scoring by big man upfront in sophomore forward
Drayton Jones (3.6 rebounds) with 13.1 ppg.
Omar Croskey is second at 9.9 points and
Wilson Dubinsky with 8.2 per contest.
INSIDE LOOK AT DELAWARE STATE: Delaware State (7-9 overall, 0-2MEAC) look to turn things around after suffering back-to-back wins in league play with a 94-100 loss to Howard and 64-73 defeat to Norfolk State.
The Hornets have three players in double figures with Martaz Robinson (4.6 rebounds) leading the way with a team-high 16.1 ppg, Robert Smith 15.1 and Kaseem Watson at 13.4 points per contest.
