CHARLESTON, SC—The South Carolina State women's soccer team dropped a tough 0-5 setback to Charleston Southern on the road Thursday (Sept. 5
th) inside the CSU Soccer Complex.
SCSU (0-7) remain scoreless throughout the contest, while dropping their 7
th straight game.
Freshman goalkeeper
Jada Gittings finished with a game-high six (6) saves with 90-minutes played. Gittings currently has 37 saves on the season, along with a season-high 10 versus Presbyterian College in their last outing.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State remain on the road and will travel to Stetson for a showdown in Deland, FL on Sunday (Sept.8) in a 1 pm start.
All women's soccer home contests will be played at the Oliver C. Dawson Bulldog Stadium on the campus of SC State and are free to the public.
