- UNC Asheville comes into the match at 1-7-1 after a 2-0 loss to Queens (N.C.) on Sunday (Sept. 15).
- South Carolina State comes into the matchup at 0-11-0 after a 4-0 loss at Gardner-Webb on Thursday (Sept. 19).
