CHARLESTON, SC—Despite a tough battle throughout, the South Carolina State women's soccer team suffered yet another setback in an 0-4 decision to The Citadel Thursday (8/22/24) at WLI Field.
SC State falls to 0-3 on the season, while The Citadel improves to 3-0.
Freshman goalkeeper
Jada Gittings along with a few other teammates played the entire 90 minutes of the contest. Gittings closed out the day with three (3) saves. The Lady Bulldogs had a better performance this outing finishing with five (5) shots at goal. .
NEXT UP: South Carolina State returns back to action Sunday (Aug.25
th) versus Radford University in a 2 p.m. start.
All women's soccer home contests will be played at the Oliver C. Dawson Bulldog Stadium on the campus of SC State and are free to the public.
