CHARLESTON, SC—The South Carolina State women's soccer team look to bounce back after a tough 0-2 start of the season Thursday (Aug. 22) versus The Citadel at WLI Field. First Kick is 4 pm and will be televised live on ESPN+.
SC State (0-2) suffered back-to-back setbacks to College of Charleston (0-7) and Queens University (0-2), meanwhile The Citadel (2-0) posted wins over UNC Asheville (2-1) and Winthrop (2-0) to remain unbeaten.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State remains on the road Sunday (Aug.25) in a showdown with Radford at 2 pm in Radford, VA.
All women's soccer home contests will be played at the Oliver C. Dawson Bulldog Stadium on the campus of SC State and are free to the public.
