INDIANAPOLIS – The defending MEAC Champion South Carolina State women's tennis team will face No.15 NC State in the opening round of the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship, as announced on NCAA.com on Monday afternoon.

The Lady Bulldogs (16-4) will battle ACC foe the Wolf Pack (20-8) Saturday (May 4^th) in Raleigh, NC at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center on the campus of NC State.

This will be the second straight year the two teams face off in the opening round of the NCAA Tennis Championships.

Monday's nod marked the Bulldogs fourth (4^th) straight NCAA Tournament appearance and their 18^th in school history. Under the direction of head coach Hardeep Judge, South Carolina State has captured 17 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championships dating back to 2002 when Judge took over the program.
