DAVIDSON, NC—The South Carolina State women's tennis team posted an impressive 4-1 win over Davidson College Saturday (April.20) at the Covington Tennis Courts.
South Carolina State improved to 12-4 overall, 6-0 in the MEAC, while Davidson falls to 12-8 overall.
"Today we had a solid win against a good Davidson team," said SC State head coach Hardeep Judge. "We really have been working on doubles last few weeks and winning the doubles point was very important today. It gave us momentum heading into the singles where we got off to a good start."

In singles action, Chursina def. Porges (6-4, 6-1) at the No. 1 spot; Hind def. Patel (6-0, 6-2) at the No. 2 spot and Silva def. Kollock (6-0, 7-6) at the No. 4 spot to claim the 4-1 victory.
The 2024 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's and Women's Tennis Championships will be held April 25-27 in Cary, North Carolina, hosted by North Carolina Central University.
The men's and women's semifinal and championship matches will be live streamed on ESPN+ on both Friday and Saturday, April 26-27.
