ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's tennis posted a 6-1 victory over visiting Eastern Michigan Tuesday (Feb. 27) inside the Hardeep Judge Tennis Center.
The Lady Bulldogs (4-1) claimed the doubles point early with wins by Berjane/Mahbouli (6-4) and Silva/Vujicic (6-1)
On the singles side
, Sofiya Chursina def. Daniella Shved (6-4, 6-1) at the No. 1 spot; Hind Semilali def. Prerna Vichare (6-3,6-3) at the No. 2 spot;
Nalanda Silva def. Linda Eloundou(7-6,6-2) at the No. 4 spot;
Teodora Vujicic def. Sabina Brichackova (7-6,7-6) at the No. 5 spot and
Feriel Mahbouli def. Regina Mendez (6-2,6-3) at the No. 6 spot.
