ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's basketball team return to action on Tuesday (Dec. 17) at home versus Charleston Southern in a non-conference battle inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tipoff is 6:30 PM.
South Carolina State (1-12 overall, 0-0 MEAC) is looking to snap an 11-game losing skid after coming off an 46-55 defeat to Winthrop in their last outing on Dec. 11).
Ali Hardwell led the way with a team-high 10 points.
Meanwhile, Charleston Southern (3-8) have dropped back-to-back contest to College of Charleston (45-86) and Furman (42-58). Catherine Alben leads the team in scoring with 13.4 points.
NEXT UP: The Lady Bulldogs battle Costal Carolina Saturday (Dec. 21) in a 12 noon start.
