GREENVILLE, SC—Sophomore forward
Drayton Jones tossed in a team-high 15 points and grabbed three rebounds, but it wasn't enough as South Carolina State dropped a tough, 68-64, decision to host Furman Saturday (Dec.14) inside Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Senior forward
Davion Everett recorded the teams only double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds and three steals, while senior guard
Omar Croskey added 13 points in the loss.
South Carolina State falls to 5-7 on the season, while Furman improves to 10-1.
NEXT UP: The Bulldogs remain on the road in a non-conference battle with USC-Upstate on Wednesday (Dec. 18) inside G.B. Hodge Center. Tipoff is 6:00 pm.
