ORANGEBURG, SC—Six Bulldogs scored in double figures with senior guard
Wilson Dubinsky tossing in a game-high 29 points including 8-of-9 from behind the three-point range to give SC State an, 137-55, win over visiting Morris College in men's basketball action Monday (Nov.4) night inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
Newcomer
Colin McKenzie displayed an impressive debut in his first game as a Bulldog scoring 19 points, while finishing 5-of-6 from behind the arc. Graduate guard
Omar Croskey added 17 and John Oliver-Seay chipped in 12 off the bench in 12 minutes of play.
Drayton Jones and
Florian Tenebay each added 11 points respectively in the win. Fifteen Bulldogs saw action tonight with South Carolina State shooting 22-of-34 from 3-point land as a team.
The pressure defense from the home team forced a game-high 23 turnovers.
South Carolina State dominated in several categories including points in the paint (44-24), points off turnovers (38-11), second chance points (15-10) and bench points (86-35).
NEXT UP: South Carolina State will travel to Columbia to battle SEC foe South Carolina in a non-conference matchup Friday (Nov. 8) in a 7 p.m. start.
