DOVER, DE—The No. 8 South Carolina State volleyball team is set to battle top-seed Howard in the quarterfinals of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Volleyball Championship Friday (Nov.22) in Dover, DE on the campus of Delaware State.
SCSU (3-22 overall, 1-12 overall) look to snap a season sweep of by No.1 Howard (21-5 overall, 14-0 MEAC).
The two teams met earlier this season with the Bison knocking off the Lady Bulldogs 3-0 in both games.
South Carolina State is led by Xaria Pickett with 233 kills,
Miya Benson with 207 digs,
Kaia Barnett with 528 assists along 17 service aces and
Hailey Harris with 64.0 blocks.
