ORANGEBURG, SC—Four Bulldogs scored double figures as the South Carolina State men's basketball team posted an impressive, 94-48, win over visiting Voorhees Monday (Nov.11) inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
Senior forward
Davion Everett led the way with a team-high 17 points connecting 7-of-7 from the floor, while newcomer
Florian Tenebay added 15 points and seven rebounds in the win.
Mitchell Taylor tossed in 11 points and four (4) rebounds, while
Drayton Jones added 10 points and three (3) rebounds. Fourteen (14) Bulldogs scored on the day.
SCSU dominated in every category including points in the paint (64-18), points off turnovers (26-6), second chance points (15-5), fast break points (23-1), bench points (63-22), and rebounding (45-19).
NEXT UP: South Carolina State embarks on a six-game road trip beginning with Jacksonville on Thursday (Nov. 14) in a 7 p.m. start in Jacksonville, FL.
