COLUMBIA, SC—The South Carolina State women's volleyball team will take a break from Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play Wednesday (Oct. 9) when they take on intrastate foe Allen in a non-conference battle inside Adams Gymnasium. First serve is 6 pm.
SC State (2-12 overall, 1-3 MEAC) is coming off an impressive 3-1 victory over Morgan State in their last outing on the road. The Lady Bulldogs snapped a league losing streak dating back to 2015.
Meanwhile, Allen (4-7 overall, 2-5 SIAC) look to bounce back and snap a four-game losing skid after dropped a tough 0-3 loss to Albany State at home.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State returns back on the road for a five match stretch, beginning with UMES on Friday (Oct. 11) at 6 p.m. , followed by Delaware State on Sunday (Oct. 13) at 1 p.m.
