BALTIMORE, MD—South Carolina State volleyball team returns to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play over the weekend when they take on Coppin State and Morgan State.
First Up South Carolina State takes on Coppin State Friday (Oct.4
th) inside the Physical Education Arena in a 6 pm start. The Lady Bulldogs (1-11 overall, 0-2 MEAC) will try and capture their first win of the season over the Lady Eagles (6-11 overall, 2-0 in MEAC).
Coppin leads the series 1-10 dating back to 2007.
The second matchup on Sunday (Oct.6) will follow with a showdown with Morgan State (4-12 overall, 0-2 MEAC. The Bears lead the series 0-8 dating back to 2018. Both teams are off to a slow start and look to turn things around when they faceoff on the court.
