BLUFFTON – South Carolina State women's soccer came out on top after defeating USC-Beaufort 1-0 Wednesday (Oct. 2
nd).
The Lady Bulldogs snapped a 25-game losing streak dating back to 2022 versus Allen University on Oct.27 in Columbia, SC.
The game was scoreless through the first half with SCSU out shooting USCB 8-5. The Bulldogs'
Kayla Moses scored in the 73rd minute, making it 1-0 and the Sand Shark's offense couldn't push across the equalizer before time expired.
Next up South Carolina State return to action on Friday, Oct. 18
th in a battle at home versus Gardner-Webb. First kick is 6 p.m.
