BALTIMORE, MD—Once again four players scored double figures, with freshman guard
Jordan Simpson leading the way with a team-high 16 points but it wasn't enough as South Carolina State dropped a tough 85-90 defeat to host Morgan State Monday (Jan.9
th) at Hill Field House.
Simpson had his best outing as a Bulldog adding five rebounds and three assist, along with teammates
Lesown Hallums, Jr.and
Rakeim Gary chipping in 15 each in the loss.
South Carolina State falls to 3-15 overall, 0-2 in the MEAC, while Morgan State improves to 8-8 overall, 2-0 in the league.
UP NEXT: South Carolina State remains on the road in Durham, NC versus North Carolina Central Saturday, Jan. 14
th. Tipoff is slated for 4 p.m.
