- Finished his freshman season with 45 tackles and 4.5 tackles for a loss.
- The following season, he collected 12.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
- On October 25, 2014, he tied an FCS record with six sacks against Bethune-Cookman and finished third in the FCS with 16 sacks as a junior and earned First-Team All-MEAC.
- In 2015, his senior campaign, he recorded 45 solo tackles, 59 total tackles, 22 tackles for losses, 13.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles, while being named a First-Team All-MEAC for a second consecutive season and earning FCS All-American honors.
PERSONAL: Earned a bachelor's in sports communication at SC State in 2015…Was a third-round selection and the 89
th overall pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2016 NFL Draft…Had an impressive four-year stint with the Steelers, before signing with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020 making him the highest-paid nose guard in the league…In only his second year with the currently (2022) undefeated Eagles, he posted the best season of his career in 2021…Ended the year with career high totals in sacks (7.5), combined tackles (63), and QB hits (18)…was named to the 2022 NFL Pro Bowl, along with former Bulldog teammate and current All-Pro linebacker Darius Leonard of the Indianapolis Colts…More recently, he was named Player of the Game for his play in the Eagles' win over the Washington Commanders…He has also been recognized for his support of his former high school and community.
