ORANGEBURG, SC—The defending MEAC Champion South Carolina State men's tennis team look to bounce back Thursday (Jan. 26
th), when they host the visiting Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina in a non-conference matchup at the Hardeep Judge Tennis Center. First serve is 1 p.m.
South Carolina State is 2-2 this season with wins over The Citadel and Benedict College. The Bulldogs, who are 1-0 on their home court this season, are coming off a 4-3 loss to William & Mary on Jan. 21.
CCU 2-0 this spring season, having swept The Citadel in a doubleheader on Jan. 16 in Charleston, S.C. Coastal defeated the Bulldogs 6-1 and 5-1 in non-conference play.
Next up the Bulldogs return to action on Saturday (Feb.3
rd) versus Wake Forest in a non-conference battle in Winston Salem, NC. First serve is 3 p.m.
